Dealing with EDS and a Lump in my Thyroid

just came back from seeing a new doctor.. he seems to know about EDS. unfortunately they found a lump in my thyroid... anyone else deal with both? seeing a different doctor tomorrow for a biopsy. ☹️🥲😓

I have Hashimoto thyroid (which is easily missed on standard labs and occasionally missed even on the microsomal antibody tests if its not active at time of testing) and I get nodes (bumps) on part of the thyroid gland all the time. Comes from scar tissue build up from auto immune. For me they are a non issue. I take replacement synthroid. I am also an hEDS-er and POTS.

I imagine this feels alarming and a bit discombobulating. Good for you for facing something that is scary and getting checked, and making 100% sure with a biopsy. Wishing you lots of support and care!
