The pain and the feeling of the joint move out of the socket, thankfully mine don’t stay out or dislocate completely

the toughest part has been both the dislocations and also the mild but ever-present fear of dislocations. I’d say sometimes the fighting to be seen as validly disabled and needing accommodations can be scary. I worry I’ll make situations harder for myself if I ask for help or extra patience and understanding from people

The pain is obviously one of the hardest things. Recently it's been hard for me realizing all my friends are getting married and I am here wondering if any man will love me like this.

tbh it's mostly just annoying at this point. I don't have the strength in my fingers to do anything anymore, I can't stand or sit without popping out a hip, my knees are constantly moving and grooving without me, especially if I turn and forget to turn my feet with the rest of me. I'm way past the point of the actual dislocations hurting, but man do they get annoying after a while. my partner also has EDS and so do both of our moms, so I'm not alone in my experience at least
