Struggling to Play Instruments with EDS

anyone else have difficulties playing instruments because of EDS? I've play piano and the bass, and my fingers and wrists will lock up or, vice versa, be too loose to play and it's really frustrating

definitely get some finger braces and wrist braces when you can! I have the exact same difficulties and can't play piano or ukulele half as much as I used to, but I found braces do actually help somewhat for short periods of playing a few songs so I can continue with music as a hobby!

Yes! I used to be really good at the flute and enjoyed it a lot, but after years of pressure on my fingers and subluxations, it's so painful to play now. Music really was my life, but I had to find new interests and build new skills. However, I now know what's wrong with me and knoe that there are finger braces. When I'm not a broke college student, I'm hoping to buy some and start playing again.
