I just recently found out that it’s what I’m possibly going through, so I’ve been on my journey for probably 4 months now. It sucks because I recently found out that I’m allergic to touching cats now because of how cracked my skin is at the moment 🥺

Sorry, dumb question but what is topical steroid withdrawal? I ask because I’m currently using a topical steroid for my hands & wonder about how long I can use the steroid cream & when I stop will the cracks, flaking, & intense itching come back.

Yea, about 18 months into TSW. So sorry that you’re dealing with this too - it’s awful. I found that dairy really affected my digestion negatively and cutting that out has helped reduce symptoms and flare ups, but I think there are other environmental triggers that are harder to control, as well as stress. I started taking Lexapro early in the withdrawal process and I feel like that helped with coping with the condition
