Yes, even regardless of how stable you may feel sometimes. I’m now finally learning the hard way that even the brief, intermittent episodes are damaging interpersonally and to those who still choose to be close with us. Eventually, they will add up and may cause a loss of support because there’s only so much someone can take. I wish I sought help a long time ago, however, it took forever for me to see and accept that I was a contributing factor. Now, hoping that I’m not too late.
