Any time I eat food, I unintentionally eat far too fast and my body feels like it’s going into panic. These episodes are very distressing and will leave me feeling very sick and unstable, and I don’t know what triggers them at this point it’s just any food. If anyone has any experience with this/advice or insight I’d appreciate it so much, I’ve tried everything I can think of to help but nothing I’ve tried has worked. I’m going to contact my doctor as well because I was wondering if blood sugar could be a factor in this

Can be related to blood sugar or blood pressure. Blood pressure can drop after eating as blood pools around the digestive tract. It is called "postprandial hypotension". Low blood pressure can manifest as anxiety.

@CoffeeAndDogs thank you so much I am certainly going to look into that

My issue was PTSD related. Once I started to get a handle on it it got better. I still eat fast, but not so fast as to make myself sick.

@somebodysomeone how were you able to get a handle on it or was there anything that helped? I’m so sorry you’ve dealt with it too
I get what you mean its so confusing. I have eaten fast my whole life but slowly it started getting stressful... please let me know if it has something to do with blood pressure lol
