Struggling to Eat Healthy with a Medical Condition

How do you eat healthy with this condition? I’m trying to gain weight and eat healthier foods but it feels impossible

You’re so right. Luckily I do not have such a severe case, but I do have a high aversion to fruits and vegetables and other“healthy” foods… and I eat pretty small portions, so it’s hard to gain weight but I’m trying! Thanks for the advice

this exactly, honestly. I didn't want to presume anything or go on a rant, but sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is eat Something. Anything. If its food, and you're able to eat it, eat it. A lot of "healthy" eating is specifically centered around weight loss and the industry that surrounds it, and not on actually properly nourishing your body. If you have the opportunity to speak to an actual licensed nutritionist about what is healthy for YOU, I would do that

I had a hard time feeling hungry, so for a long while I had alarms set in my phone for three meals and three snacks so I would remember to eat. That was really helpful for me, to just actually be consistently eating!

The brand of juice I personally get is called Naked. They have lots of different flavors and they're pretty nutritious!

Yes I drink the carnation breakfast drink. I just have a lot of food sensitivities so I don’t eat any fruits or veggies really. Do you have any suggestions for juice smoothies ?

Depends on what you mean by healthy! It varies by person. Have you tried supplements like carnation instant breakfast to pad your food intake? There have been a lot of days when I had no safe foods and that stuff saved my life. I tend to also keep fruits and juice smoothies that I like on hand, they're good for raising blood sugar in a pinch and they're easy to eat
