Difficulty Breathing with Dyautonomia

Does anyone else with dyautonomia sometimes get the feeling like they need a deep breath because a normal one doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything? I have had this for two days and it feels like im manually breathing.

Can you help? Connect today

Yep! It’s called air hunger! I get it a lot where I have to keep trying to take a breath that feels “deep” enough and then it goes away

I never realized I did this until people started asking "what's wrong?" when I was just sitting there because I would exhale heavily lol

I feel like I sometimes need to bend my head back and take a deeper breath.

I found that this happens to me when my blood oxygen is low. Doesn't happen all the time so I'm actually sure if it's correlated
