Considering Dupuytren Contracture Surgery: Need Advice

I have Dupuytren contracture‘s in both hands, I’m trying to decide if I should get surgery. I tried injections which helped a little however I’m still in a lot of pain in my hands of becoming more and more deformed. Any experience shared with me would be appreciate it thank you

I have it in both hands also, annoying and painful 😖 have you tried “Dupuytrensco” cream? Google it, it’s a little pricey, but it works. You rub it in vigorously, I use knuckles to rub it in on each side, over the nodules, and it greatly reduces the pain and tension. It’s also reduced the size of my nodules. Try the cream before surgery, I’ve heard the surgery is awful … not that I’ve heard any surgery was good!!

Thanks for sharing that info, I’m going to try the cream, the nodules are starting to pull my fingers into my palm, does the cream help reduce that aside from helping with the pain?

yes! It has helped reduce everything ❤️ again, I think it’s around $50, so no cheap … but it has done wonders for me. They usually give you a discount code for first time too I think, and I think you can save a bit by subscribing too. Just make sure you really vigorously rub it in to the nodules, like I said, I use knuckles and go hard back and forth … twice a day is all is needed. Most days I only do once, I keep it on my nightstand and do it at bed time. Let me know how you get on with it 💕

I have Dupuytren contractors in both hands. My Dr said injections never help only make worse his opinion. I have an allergy to pain medication so many things much harder to work around.
