Experiencing a Duplicate of Someone I Know with Schizophrenia

I’m just curious has anyone else with schizophrenia ever had a duplicate (don’t know what else to call it) of a real person they know ? Last night my house mate came into my room talked to me for 3 hours then literally disappeared when I turn my head, I went into his room to ask why he left and there he was fully pasted out like he’d been there for hours, I’ve asked him about it this morning and he’s telling me it never happened, is he fucking with me or do I have a duplicate and if so I’m worried I’ve had a lot more conversations with the duplicate than I think.

In a psych prison a long time ago, I saw someone from high school in there with me. I said 'hey (his name)' but he didnt respond. Messaged him on facebook later, he didn't respond.
