My doctor & I moved me to duloxetine (Cymbalta) just under a month ago for suspected fibro/ME. No negative side effects so far (phew!) but I haven't noticed much relief either. For those who've taken it a bit longed and did see improvement, about how long did it take? And, when you noticed positive change, what stood out the most?

For the pain, personally didn’t make a huge difference but it has helped me mentally. Lyrica has helped me a lot more with fibromyalgia pain than duloxetine has
It took me about 8 weeks to notice any difference at all, hang in there 🤗
I actually haven't had much effect with it either except I think mentally. Maybe not even mentally. Been taking it for a year and a half. I was on fluoxetine/Prozac, my rheum suggested cymbalta instead, then I got a psychiatrist couple months later and he said the two meds work different parts of the brain so u can take both
