Look into micro dosing mushrooms. It's not as scary/bad as it sounds. I didn't think I would ever feel like "me" again but since starting I feel better than I have in years!!! 🍄

It helps but the regret is worse than anything I’ve covered up 😥 but I keep doing it for the temporary fix

Weed helped but I guess it’s still a temporary fix because now that I’m pregnant and can’t smoke I’m a mess.

Alcohol specifically has the ability to cause psychosis or exasperate psychosis in people with bipolar specifically. I’m assuming it could have the ability for similar mood disorders and other drugs in general

drugs and alcohol give you a dopamine rush which is why you feel better in the moment. when you wake up, the dopamine is gone, and you may feel worse bc of the dehydration from drinking alc. alcohol is also a known depressant and will actually cause worse depression over time. i know things like weed and psychadelics can be beneficial for some mental health conditions, but any other substances that i know of will make you feel worse once it wears off. and then you wasted your money on a temporary solution, which feels awful.
