Driving with a Medical Condition: Share Your Experience

What is your experience with driving? I had several car accidents prior to being diagnosed but have not driven since my last surgery. I have an appointment with my Nuerologist on Monday. What is your experience with driving and your condition?

I haven’t been allowed by my doctor to drive for awhile since I was diagnosed the past year I started having some more issues show up chronic migraines with a lot of pressure , also seizure like activity ( what I’ve been calling it ) not diagnosed with seizures yet but if I drive I won’t remember it or how I got to whatever place I was going to .. they’re still not sure what’s going on but not wanting to say it’s seizures

I'm 27 years old and I don't drive. I'm scared that I'm going to pass out from an episode of hydrocephalus.

Sadly I haven’t driven since my most recent 4th ventricle shunt surgery. Which I had done in 2019. So it’s really also affecting my anxiety and depression because I’m not able to drive and have my independence back.

I have not had any trouble driving except for I feel like I have car narcolepsy. If I’m sitting in the car for more than 30 minutes driving I start to fall asleep. Don’t know if it’s related.
