Just wanted to say I also got DP/DR from THC. It's been 5 years now and it is a little better, but still bad. I hope it gets better for you much sooner than that.

I’m so sorry you’re going through that. It’s so good that you know that it’s just your mind is playing tricks on you, though. Mindfulness can also help a lot, there’s lots of techniques for that stuff and worksheets for free online, even on pinterest, until you find the right therapist. I don’t have the disorder, but when I dissociate due to other disorders and trauma, mindfulness and grounding help me a lot. Lot’s of 5 senses techniques when it’s bad. As for long-term connection with her, I would definitely suggest thinking about finding the right therapist/therapy for you. It does get better❤️❤️

Thank you! Me and her have been so close since she’s been born but after that I felt like I didn’t know her or love her which I know isn’t true 😭😭😭😭😭

It’s not really anxiety, because it’s a dissociative disorder, but it can cause anxiety over it. My rule is if I’ve gone to a therapist 4 times and I don’t feel as though they get me or are helping at all, I go to someone else. Sometimes trauma or stress or even tiredness can trigger it, I would maybe learn your triggers and practice some distress tolerance and grounding techniques that connect you with your surroundings. Even creative therapies can be helpful so don’t give up!
