Dosage of Adderall for ADD patients

Was diagnosed ADD almost 2 years ago, when i first started medication, it was working wonders for me and I finally felt like I could function like I was meant to my whole life. I think that I may just have built up a tolerance to the medication, I want to know what the dosage of adderall others like me are on? I’m unsure if my dose is low or high, etc.

I’m on 30mg adderall XR. You definitely build up a tolerance to it over the years. I’ve had to stop taking it and switch to another med for a while and then switch back multiple times

i’m not on adderal (i take ritalin) but one helpful thing is taking smaller doses in days when i don’t need to be 100% and also upping dosages is very common!

I'm on 10mg XR and it wears off pretty fast but I was wary of the side effects after having bad experiences with high doses in the past. My doctor told me 10mg/day was the lowest they prescribe to adults. I think 60mg/day is the top of the range. I used to struggle with appetite but I've found that if I eat before I take the medication in the morning it helps a lot.

I have ADHD and I’m on 15mg, I just started meds for adhd about 2 months ago. So far 15 has worked ok for me but comes with some serious insomnia, loss of appetite which turned into sickness whenever I did eat.

I’m currently on 10mg XR, 15 worked better for me but was also an appetite suppressant, which wasn’t great for my eating disorder history.
