I talk to my therapist once a month and honestly it helps me refresh my brain so I don’t have as many breakdowns. It’s been the most helpful thing for me. I started with a therapist over the phone but she wasn’t right for me and now I have the best therapist for me. As soon as I enter her room I feel safe enough to let my guard down by her. Just remember that they have no personal affect on your life. They can’t tell your best friend omg guess what they said. That to me was the most relieving part until now where she helps me build my confidence as a human and is helping me rebuild my self love relationship because it’s suffered for a long time

I swear by it! I never thought I would be able to unlearn being a people pleaser but I was proven wrong with therapy! 🙌

There's an app called Doctor On Demand where you can talk to someone through your phone without even leaving your house! That's what I use. Message me if you have any questions about it! I think it's a really good first start for anyone looking for therapy.

I just started therapy late last year. From my experience, talking to someone and kinda getting stuff off your chest does help. It's hard for me to take their advice sometimes but the advice they give is very good sometimes. I'd say if you have good insurance to cover it or if you have enough money then it's worth a try! And if you don't find it's right for you, maybe try looking up some other coping mechanisms or talk to a friend or family member that you think could help. 🙂

It can! Even if the person isn’t right for you, you learn more about what your needs are and how to meet them in the future.

It works if your willing to let it. It's hard to be in that place. It also can be hard to find someone you work well with. So don't give up if the first time isn't amazing. It takes a lot of time.
