Looking for Doctor Recommendations and Supplements

I don’t have a good doctor. Any recommendations of people in the US or supplements/treatments I should be doing in the meantime?

Mainly for acid reflux/GERD, but some tips can also help with general stomach pain, too. I can give more tips for the EDS, too!

Depending on which state you live in (I'm in WI), there are programs that can help you tremendously with medical bills such as medicaid, the Katie Beckett program (if you're under 18/19), disability benefits, BadgerCare if you're in WI, and individual hospitals will work with you for payment options and financial assistance. For otc or home "remedies", i find that a heating pad can help sometimes, along with taking preventative antacids daily (do research to make sure they won't interact with any other meds you may be taking). Mylanta greatly helps my mother, and its fairly cheap at Walmart. For bad acid reflux, I sometimes have to eat some ice chips to settle my stomach a bit. Skim milk can sometimes help a little, in moderation (since it does still have fat, plus it can aggravate ibs for some). Staying in a relatively upright position during bad episodes, and sleeping on the left side of your body can help to keep stomach acid from coming up. If you do happen to live in WI, I can certainly recommend doctors, too!
