Do Others Feel Urethral Pain with Interstitial Cystitis?

I have never been officially diagnosed with IC but my mom was and we had a lot of the same symptoms only mine is only pain in my urethra. Just wondering if anyone else feels it there or only there?

I find that my flow is slow and I can never empty my bladder completely, hence the need to go all the time

Mine is in multiple places but definitely the most frequent/annoying is pain/pressure/discomfort in urethra

The pain for me is also mostly urethral burning. I’ve started d-mannose and drink a lot of water to try and keep it away

My pain is also in the urethra and vaginally. My entire bladder hurts when I touch it from outside. Not fun.

I was diagnosed 10 years ago. My pain is mainly in the urethra. Very similar to UTI pain.

Yes! When I was telling my doctor about my symptoms (right before I got diagnosed), I told her I had pain in my urethra as well. For me, it felt like when I have to pee very bad and the pee is just waiting at the tip of the urethra opening to come out. However it wasn’t super painful, it was more like pressure, EXTREME discomfort, and a pulsating feeling.
