so I feel like I may be on the autistic spectrum but I was never diagnosed, I also heard its alot harder to diagnose females in the spectrum. The reason I believe I am is because when I looked it up I literally have almost all of the symptoms, I also watched alot of shows about people with autism and I act very similar. I've told people around me but they all say I'm just a hypochondriac and there's nothing really wrong with me besides the things I have been diagnosed with, so I makes me feel like I am a hypochondriac.... but I'm just really good at masking, should I bring it up to my doctor? I just feel like they wouldn't believe me since I act so normal

I'd bring it up to a therapist or psychiatrist. They're the ones best able to get you diagnosed, and also theres a lot of overlap between ADHD and autism for example, so theyd be the ones best able to get you the right information along with the diagnosis

Talk to a good therapist and try to schedule a neuropsych appointment with a group that is less biased. If your parents are able have them do a list of the things you did as a child that can support your concern. And write out how you display the markers and how it impacts you.

Definitely talk to your doctor or a therapist! They'll be able to help you.
