Beta blockers haven’t helped my dizziness and shortness of breath and only help my tachycardia a little, what other options to I have to feel better?

I use compression, hydration, and 2 different medications. Low dose amitriptaline as well as meclazine.

Chewable salt tabs, compression stockings, and hydrating well have all helped me tremendously and I definitely recommend adding them to your regimen. If hydrating is hard for you, try keeping drinks in the house that you enjoy. Intravenous rehydration might be a good option for you, too. Stay safe and stay strong.💗 💪

Properly hydrating helped me so much. My doc has me adding salt to my water and it shut down my tachycardia really quickly. I never knew that drinking a lot of plain water could hurt more than it helped. Also I discovered that managing my MCAS had a huge role in quieting my heart down.

Do you wear compression clothing? I find wearing compression socks help my dizziness some as it sends blood back up like it’s supposed to.
