When did you find out what panic and anxiety attacks are? And did you have it frequently? Also I’m a funny person so if my name doesn’t seem funny don’t mind my name LOL

When I was 13 and at my friend's, her dad was a massive alcoholic and meannn. Her mom left him and so it was just him and her. We were staying with them until one night him and his friends all got drunk and started telling me to go hang myself in his backyard, (he had a rope that I actually made into a noose the night before) He kept saying to go kill myself and it just got so overwhelming and he wouldn't stop and I just kinda stopped breathing. I wasn't sure what to do besides cry, I couldn't catch my breath and I felt as if I was suffocating on air.

I've had panic attacks since I was a young child but waan’t able to identify them by name until the end of high school. I used to have panic disorder and had panic attacks frequently (1-3x per day) but got it under control with PRN benzos (Klonopin) and steady non-benzos (Hydroxyzine) which I take regularly but can take more as a PRN as needed more for mild to moderate anxiety no so much severe. Klonopin for severe. Meds help some people.

As a teenager I had my first panic attack. I had them every once in while, but not too frequently. I'm on a PRN in case I feel one coming on. They are the worst
