I started seeing a therapist because my doctor sent me. She gave me some questionnaires. She informed me my Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) was a 9 of 10. I was worried she would diagnose me with DID, and explained that what I have is a spectrum disorder. I honestly wondered if I had it throughout my life, and didn't know there are 4 things and I showed all 4.
