Getting a specialist in BPD can also be super helpful. I have a friend who sees a therapist who only takes clients with BPD and it seems to be extremely helpful.

Absolutely tell them your condition. In the long run they will figure out what they need to buy themselves. Be as open as you can and in return you will get better treatment

Hi, it great that you're trying to get into therapy for your bpd. I've been open with my therapist, psychiatrist & social worker about my physical & mental health cause they go hand-in-hand. It's best to tell them about your diagnosis so they can better help you with treatment or whatever support you may need from them
