long time no post. been having a difficult time lately with drs/care/aid for my fibromyalgia. finally had an appointment (not my primary as she’s on maternity leave, but a dr in her circle), and she told me fibro doesn’t qualify as a disability anymore(i’m in california). i’ve done research and i thought it did? anyway i broke down when she said this and after i got another med added to my long list and a new referral for pain management she sort of changed her tune? and said they might approve me for it. soooo which is it???? so annoyed. and she kept mentioning my my fibro being connected to stress and depression as if i didn’t already know that. I explained i take meds, go to therapy, self care etc and she just kept going back to it. seems like i might have gotten a dr who thinks fibro is a myth. 😤
