Eligibility for Disability Benefits Due to Migraines and Depression

I'm working on seeing if I'm eligible for disability because of my migraines and depression. It is one big pain to fill out the application and then they require a bunch of other documents. I'm curious if anyone on this app is currently on disability and what they do for you.

i'm not on disability yet but i'm also in the process of applying, through my home institution. it's stressful. if it goes through, i'd get access to options and resources that allow me to work from my room on days i'm drained and can't physically go to work.

I tried to apply for partial disability so I could take a few days off a week to work on my mental health because I really wanna die. But because I’m working at all they denied me. I’m really fucking pissed about it

My husband is on disability for his spine. It took several denials, 6 years and 2 court hearings to get approval. As far as what I found, the process requires stacks of medical documentation showing you have exhausted every possible option to continue working. I've heard that the guidelines have gotten more strict in recent years
