I think this is similar to what used to be called churg Strauss but I’m just learning. Wondering if anyone can tell me if this causes them with problems breathing. I have flare ups every so often where everything from my sinuses drains down into my chest and I can’t cough it up because I can’t get enough air. I have extreme difficulty breathing and usually go into my rescue breathing mode just to get by. I wind up in the urgent care and they do a shot of steroids (prednisone) and a nebulizer treatment and it helps a great deal. I was all excited to start my tapered steroids today because last night was rough but the heat is having a major effect on my breathing. The warmer I get, not even hotter, just warmer, I get, the harder it is for me to breath. And if I have a coughing fit I wind up overusing my inhaler just to help myself somehow breathe. Does this sound familiar to anyone else???

All I know is that it’s a vascular disease and can affect blood vessels even in the lungs. Are you on any maintenance medication to keep it at bay?
