Does anyone else have sort of alters of themselves but each is from different time periods? I have my very young me, my child like joy that I rarely see, I have my current me which is also rare, its me when I'm back to the present and feel alive and real, the ghost of current me who is what I usually am, it's like a shell of me and then the future dread that looms. Anyone have something similar?

I kind of experience the same... I recently started transgender hormone therapy and one of the first feelings was that I felt like child me. This is a reported feeling, of feeling more in your own body once you begin treatment. But I was remembering emotions I hadn't felt in 15, 20 years - and I'm 26. It almost felt like a different self; I forgot the emotions I had felt in my more recent years, almost. I now have memories of kind of when the division of those was in my life, and I have this feeling that these parts of me are now slowly melding through a shared desire to get better, to be happy. Then there's the "shell of me" version which is DEFINITELY depersonalized me. Recently my mind's been a messy place, but I've managed to bring it peace by accepting all parts of me. Even the "shell of me" version. I hope my experience can help you even if only a little on your journey. ❤️

I have a 5 year old me inside that one of my friends with DID said sounds very much like a specific subtype of DID (cant remember which) My brain basically made a save state of the moment I was traumatized that it can activate to assist in reacting to similar situations. Except this will be triggered for all sorts of reasons and 5 year old me is not very helpful. So yeah, I can relate in a way.
Sort of, they're more distinct than that because I have OSDD-1B, but what you're describing is certainly similar to some of our alters. Only difference is that they're all still you rather than entirely separate.
