What do y'all add to your diet other than water and extra salt that help alleviate your symptoms? I've been really dizzy and brain fog-y as of late and was wondering if there might be anything I might be missing!

I have sports drinks, high in electrolytes, every day. I also use glucose tabs and gels when I'm post episode to help myself get better faster. They help me stay hydrated and my sugar normal, which helps me feel better faster.

I’ve found whole grains(such as steel cut oats) with fruit and some protein powder in the morning to be helpful with my lightheadedness and dizziness that I especially have in the morning and progressively gets worse late evening. Eating small snacks too, such as mixed nuts, in between meals I’ve heard is also helpful and has helped me as well! I’m also someone who’s hypoglycemic though so it’s tricky for me to suit both a hypoglycemic diet and one for pots sometimes ;)

@Kaiiyla When it comes to whole grains though I’ve found I always need to combine them with SOMETHING otherwise I get lethargic very quickly and dizzy again but that’s my own experience at least

"Removing gluten, dairy, going grain-free, sugar, and night shades for a solid 3 months could potentially help. Low Dose Naltrexone and Vyvanse have been found helpful for brain fog. Increasing intake of high water content fruits and veggies such as watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, oranges, bell peppers, broccoli, celery, cucumbers, lettuce, zucchini can also be beneficial. Adding an ORS (oral rehydration solution) like liquid iv, drip drop, banana bag to your water can maximize the effect of hydration. Vitamin D, C, B and Magnesium supplements are also recommended by some."
