Do you guys follow a specific diet? Anything you recommend for pain?

      I avoid Nightshade plants' produce that affects me. Potatoes. easy on tomatoes. I don't know if eggplant bothers me. I think peppers are a nightshade plant.

      I am allergic to the casein in dairy, so I follow a strict non dairy diet. It took years for a diagnosis beyond general IBS, even though I get violently ill whenever I eat even the smallest amount of animal dairy.

        @TrixNY I’m actually thinking I’m lactose intolerant or something because for years now when I eat certain meals with dairy my stomach hurts and I’m gassy. Drs jusr tell me I have IBS. .. I’m trying to lose weight too and I’m not sure what breakfast meals would be good without dairy and sometimes eggs bug me too. Do you get your recipes online or do you have a subscription to a meal plan?

          @ShenNinja unfortunately, most of the subscription means are either fully vegan or have dairy (milk powder) and I do still eat meat/eggs. I probably should go vegan, but I don’t enjoy the food enough. For dairy, I use oat milk products - Oatly milk and Earth Balance non soy butter are even better than regular dairy, I think. Plant based cheese leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s out there. Most cook well so you can keep making the foods you like, just without dairy. My best advice is stay vigilant on packaged foods. They sneak dairy powder into everything 😥
