Need Motivation to Change My Diet Again

Need some motivation to change my diet again. I've been depressed for months, and when I'm depressed I eat and drink the foods/beverages I'm not supposed too. 🙃 I'm getting the depression under control, but in terms of fixing this messy diet, should I do small changes? should I restart my medication for 14 days and just do a reset again? I'm terrified of getting cancer but when your depressed, the little things are what made me feel better.

I would try to do a brat diet for a couple of weeks and then see how you do with that

I’m not sure if this is helpful but I think understanding yourself best will help you choose an answer. For me when it comes to diets I have to do it cold turkey. Otherwise I just want to keep cheating until I’m not following any diet. If your capable of doing small changes I think that is amazing and know most people would choose this option. The fact that are you working on this aspect of yourself is great and wish the best for you!!

You can do this!!! I find it helps to not polarize food as “good” or “bad.” Rather, see the good food as nurturing and bringing good mood, health, and nutrition! As a small step, try adding good foods in rather than quitting cold turkey. For example if you crave a cupcake, add a vegetable with it!:) 加油(you got this/keep going!)☀️🥰♥️
