There's no test for it, just symptoms. And if u have ever had Mono ur a sure canidate. After I had covid I got way way worse. Mono does not like any other infections on top of it. The biggest issue is finding a knowledge Dr. Good luck w that 1.

For me, all the symptoms match, and my doctor ruled out basically every other differential diagnosis over the course of many months. It’s important to do this first because CFS can be caused by, or mistaken for, a lot of things that are treatable. I asked for a test for everything I and my doctor thought that I might have, and when they were all negative, he basically said he couldn’t do anything else to help me and told me to “wait and see if symptoms improve”. When my symptoms didn’t improve that’s when I knew I needed to find someone who knew how to work with CFS specifically, so I looked for a while and finally found a doctor who could give me an official diagnosis. It’s hard to find a doctor that knows enough about CFS to diagnose, so hopefully your primary care is educated enough on it to be comfortable doing so. I wish you luck in getting a diagnosis 💛 you can send me a private message if you want to ask me anything!
