Diagnosed with Schizoaffective Disorder: Seeking Support

I learned today in therapy I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. I'm so relieved to hear that. Hopefully I can find people here that I can talk to about it too.

It's great you feel relieved to get a diagnosis. For some people like myself it was a challenge to accept for a while. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was 18. Once I got past denial and accepted it fully, I was able to focus on treatment and then scale up my life to where I am now

Yeah, I'm more relieved about having the correct assumption of my diagnosis, but it's still going to be a struggle living with it day to day.
