Hi guys, it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here. I wanted to share that I was diagnosed OCD after suspecting for years and while it’s not been easier at all, it’s given me a name for the symptoms I have. I was wondering whether to seek a diagnosis, and in some ways it’s scary to have a name and the associated risk factors and stigma, but I also have more of a community now and a treatment plan with a professional! Still struggling with the same themes (I’m not far into treatment yet) but I’m hopefully on my way to getting more of my life back. How are you all doing?

Sorry 4 the late reply, but congrats!!! Be easy on yourself and take your time :)) sometimes u have to try a few things until you find something that works. And then even after that you might have to do it again later, you are constantly changing and so are your habits !! I hope everything goes well for you!!
