Jesus Christ I looked it up. Literally says anything bad can happen. Can I ask has anything happened to you? Like seizures , paralysis , tics , hallucinations etc?

Sickem, yes, I have Nerve pain and weakness, chronic vomiting, and migraines. The nerve pain and vomiting have been around for 3 years and 4 years. The migraines are recent, started 6 months ago.

Yea, I had that diagnosis too. It was a misdiagnosis that almost killed me. If you have any doubt about whether or not that's the correct diagnosis, SPEAK UP. do research, document your symptoms, whatever you need to do to be taken seriously. you deserve proper care and you have the right to be a pain in the ass about getting it

They thought I had conversion too. I find that if you have poor mental health no one takes your pain seriously. I don't know if vomiting is even a symptom of conversion

I’ve never heard of this before.. I just looked it up on google.. it seems confusing… a person can go blind and nothing is technically wrong.. I don’t know how I feel about that.. I agree with the advice above.. I think you should get another opinion.

The correct diagnosis was Long QT Syndrome! And a MILD generalized anxiety disorder, for which medication works very well. It was initially missed because Long QT is rare, and typically acquired. I hadn't been on any medication in my life at that point, so it wouldn't have been acquired, but congenital Long QT is almost unheard of. The only reason I wasn't diagnosed until I had a heart attack was because I had the anxiety diagnosis. I spent five years doing my own research and desperately scraping together a family medical history. I spent three years after that advocating, collecting evidence, and eventually demanding a genetic test that confirmed what I had known for years. I really woulda been long dead if I hadn't listened to my gut and dug my heels in to find the ACTUAL answer

Thank you Juneau. That’s what really gets me is my mental health when my pain started was fine, and now, is doing good. It’s the three years inbetween of being called a liar that really did a number on it.
