Can Diabetes Type 1 Cause Hair Loss?

I’ve found I have lost a LOT of hair recently!!!! I use to have insanely thick hair but recently I’ve lost so much that it’s gotten rather thin. I have no idea what to do to help my hair out

I don't know if diabetes itself closet but a lot of the medications that doctors give for diabetes will cause hair thinning or hair to fall out like and I can't remember the name of that glucophage make your hair fall out
