First, keep monitoring your sugars so you know where you are. Not all carbs are the same. Read labels and know how your body responds. For me, I shifted my diet to less carbs and more protein and vegetables, not fully keto nor fully vegetarian, but there is a lot of benefit to dropping the number of carbs. Your Healthcare provider can give you guidance on the best number of carbs for your situation. Also consider exercise. Again, in my experience, exercise lowers my sugar. I know it's a bummer to not have your meds and I hope that gets better. Until then, there are people here for you.
