Question about Dexcom G6 receiver and transmitter

Guys I need help, my doctor prescribed me the Dexcom the other day but she prescribed the sensor and receiver. Does the Dexcom g6 come with the receiver and transmitter together?

depending on your phone your phone could act as a transmitter ! just check your app store and see id dexcom dropped an app for your specific device !!

For the Dexcom you should be getting these components.. 1. The Sensors- These are the part that connect to the skin and sense the glucose information. They are medium sized with an orange button.. 2. The Transmitter- The transmitter sits inside of the sensor and transmits the glucose information. This is a little gray item that clicks in the the open spot once the sensor is inserted. 3. The Receiver- This is the phone like object which receives the glucose information and shows you your graph.. When you first start out with Dexcom you should be getting a box or more of sensors, a box with a transmitter, and a box with the receiver as well. You will need (if you aren't using the dexcom app) all of these components to start. I hope this helps
