Describing Depression: How Do You Put It Into Words?

I think of my depression as a rain cloud that follows me. And when it gets really bad the water builds up and it feels like I’m drowning, other days it just being there makes me feel down or sad. It’s always there and never goes away but some days it just rains harder than others. I hope this helps!
