Need advice on seeing a dermatologist

Did ya'll see a dermatologist or just a primary care provider? My primary wasn't any help when I tried getting something for it 🙄

      @Mercedes97 statistically dermatologist and GP’s diagnose it the most. I went to 4 and none of them had even heard of it so my facts are quite straight.

      I was actually diagnosed the first time I went to a derm for a severe flare that left me unable to put my arm down. Got a cortisone shot and finally knew what the issue was.

      Mine is minor and I had a gyno tell me what it was just a few years ago. (I'm 38) I've always felt like I was just dirty. I break out under my boobs and thigh area. I'm going to ask a dermatologist to help me .

      I had to try everything before my dermatologist agreed I had it. I mean years of this crap. Even had a dr tell me I had a STD every know I was not active. You need to find someone who understands it. There is a website just Google our condition and follow the website to find a dr

      I wasn’t diagnosed/helped at all until I went to a dermatologist. Fun fact gynecologists don’t know about it yet lol.

        @Soskae gynecologists do know about it. Actually in fact they are mostly the ones who diagnose it. Get your facts straight. Gynecologists are very well aware of it.
