Any tips on how to be less depressed when you don’t feel motivated to do anything. Thanks! Prayers to everyone!

Can you remember what used to bring you joy before the depression? If so, try doing that, even if you don’t feel motivated. Do it in blind faith and see if that helps even a little bit?

@Songbird24 Like for me that’s music, so even when depressed, I try to sing, even if I think it won’t help, and it somehow still helps :)

Ayurvedic medicines work wonders for me First, "BACOPA" either alone or in combination with other herbs, as a memory and learning enhancer, sedative, and anti-epileptic The sedative properties quiets my brain 🧠 from a negative loop of thinking. The "Enhancer" properties narrows my thinking to a quality focus so I can stay on track and not go back to wanting to sit around and sulk. "Ashwagandha" can benefit women experiencing sexual dysfunction. Ashwagandha has been called the king of Ayurvedic herbs. It's best known for reducing stress and anxiety. It may also modestly enhance various aspects of physical performance, increase testosterone levels, and improve reproductive health. Finally, but not limited too, "Tumeric" In India, it was traditionally used for disorders of the skin, upper respiratory tract, joints, and digestive system. Today, turmeric is promoted as a dietary supplement for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory infections, allergies, liver disease, depression, and many others. There are combination supplements over the counter that include all three of the above in one capsule, making it easier to manage. Sending Love ❤️ and light ✨️

Honestly take it slow. You don’t need to jump into the biggest plans or wants right now. Work up to it over time. And also start saying yes to things (as long as you feel comfortable and they’re safe lol)

Take some time to do something you WANT to do. Doesn’t matter what it is really, can be anything, as long as it makes you happy. For me, when I’m feeling bad I’ll listen to some good music and treat myself to something sweet. I recently had some days off and I was so happy I was able to just sleep and relax and now I feel great.
