Depression Killing My Sex Drive, Hurting My Relationship

Anyone else have absolutely no sex drive or romantic feelings when they’re depressed? It’s really screwing with my current relationship :(

Yeah... for a while in other relationships i would either shut down when sexual stuff was involved or would do it anyway (both options sucked). In my most recent relationship though, i feel open enough with my partner to just tell them look dude, i love you a ton but sometimes when im depressed i just dont want to have sex. Its not a you thing at all, and i still care about you. Ill let you know when im down to have sex. Being completely open while still understanding and acknowledging how the other person feels is the best thing i can suggest.

i can really relate to shutting down or doing it anyways to make ur partner happy , but then end up feeling worse after , its good u are in a relationship where u can be open and say that and he respects it and doesnt take it personal
