It’s really hard for me to cry unless I sit down and really force myself when I’m alone.

Sometimes I wish I could cry. Don't know the last time I did ...I feel that I've been desensitized over the years. I internalize instead causing my fibromyalgia. Prolonged emotional stress brought about my fibro...
Over anything, yes. And body aches.
I know I do
Sometimes, it really depends on how stressed out I am, the more stress I'm under, the more the depression feeds off of it
@Petrina yes and vice versa and to add chronic pain to it too
Yes. I cry like crazy when I'm depressed. I'm really sensitive when depressed too. Hope this helps and hope you feel better.
@merb aww thank you it does help. I hope you feel better too
When depressed we got to do something that's good for ourselves and our body. We got to eat some healthy stuff and protein, quality protein, it's supposed to help with depression. When I eat beans for some reason they do make me feel better for the moment. Also if we could get some kind of exercise it can help us. So sometimes my exercise is whatever I can accomplish in my own living space. Simple thing cleaning a toilet, sink, today I did my dishes, I have used those germ wipes and put them on the floor and stand on them and slide around on the floor to clean it and that's like exercise
@Unknow that’s really helpful. I think I will try exercising more often
The dumbest things make me think about other, more depressing things and the cycle goes on and on.
Idk how not to cry. The littlest things and im balling. I hate it. It makes me so angry. Idk how to control it though. It's embarrassing.
@Ashiz1989 I feel embarrassed about it too
@Ashiz1989 actually it sounds like you're severely depressed for crying that easily and not much. What has happened that broke the camel's back that it's hard for you to feel so-called normal? If I get severe depression and cried a lot then it's hard to get back to my so-called normal place of depression. It takes some time to recover myself. Are you on any medication? Have you called your doctor? Please please please get a hold of professional. Otherwise my first thought was if you're a girl and you're young, I thought maybe you could be pregnant because some pregnant women do cry a lot. No joking
@Ashiz1989 there with you. . .😞
so it just depends on what time it is lmao, if its past 11 pm, yes i will sob at everything but if its before then it will take some heavy emotional damage
Sometimes instead of crying I end up getting angry. That is also part of depression
Sometimes I go long periods of time where I can't cry and other times it's as if I can't stop. For me it depends on the medication. Going off of an antidepressant or starting up another one I tend to cry more but usually even when I'm terribly miserable I can't cry.
I find depression can cause us not to take care of ourselves. Lack of sleep, lack of food eventually leads to hysteria/crying.
If I haven't slept what is so called normal for me. I have insomnia but I do get some kind of sleep but if the insomnia is worser then I have migraines and crying spells

Yes
Thats 100% me. But I also believe I'm an empath and take on other emotions as well
For me, I feel like it's harder to cry or feel anything. Just apathetic.
