Actually yes, I use my own feelings as inspiration for my art and story writing and such, while I still receive treatment for my diagnosis

I'm not sure I understand the question. Depression kills my creativity, there is no spark in it just a draining. Getting treatment (in my case talk therapy, managing my ADHD, and a duloxetine persription.) Has helped me be able to jump back into life. I'm able to write again I have the ideas for art. I'm working on paintings. I think too often our culture creates a mythos around the "tortured artist" like if they we not miserable they would not create art. But I promise that's a myth. Yes inspiration can come from suffering, but it can also come from joy and contentment and love and hope and longing and confusion and humor and so much more. Any suffering that is not temporary and does not make room for the rest of life is not going to help make better art, it will drain the art of so much potential.
