Finally Diagnosed with Lupus After 20 Years

I was diagnosed with lupus this week after almost 20 years of symptoms. I'm upset that other doctors didn't believe me, but I'm happy I found one that finally did .

I’m so happy that your doctors finally diagnosed you with Lupus…. It’s such a painful, excruciating experience, it’s turned my life upside down but I still gotta keep on keeping on rite??!! I agree 100% I felt like a giant walking question mark until my rheumatologist was finally able to give a definite answer.

Sounds like my story!! My pcp just took all my symptoms and my hospital admissions and just assemble them together like a puzzle, and he was like “well it’s lupus, obviously”
