In some part yes, more or less in different individuals. But it’s not nature versus nurture, it’s nature and nurture. Childhood traumas play a huge role for many with depression and anxiety related disorders

I wouldn't necessarily say hereditary, but I do think a family history of anxiety/depressive disorders can make you more susceptible for sure unfortunately.

IDK if you're asking a question or stating it, but here's my response...yes to a certain degree. In my experience, I have anxiety and depression that can be traced on both sides of my family, but it's all been expressed differently because of my experiences vs theirs. Like I have the fear of never finding a guy that'll love me, whereas my uncle doesn't have that anxiety. But I don't have his anxiety over finances or health/wellness. Not sure if that makes sense...but it really depends on what you're working with and the situation (like my mom has depression, but it has not been an issue and she hasn't had to be medicated for it for a long time. Meanwhile, I'm medicated)

To a degree, yes! My dad had a major anxiety disorder. Which I now have. But I'm the only one with depression, but a lot of that comes from past bullying and toxic people
