Struggling with Depression and Anxiety in College

I don’t know if I’ll stay on here long, but I’m willing to give this a shot. My depression and anxiety is becoming worse as I stress over college. I didn’t think I would live for this long so I have no plans whatsoever. I wish I could get property diagnosed so I could deal with my issues and really understand what I have, but I can’t right now.

I felt the same when I was in school regarding stressing over school, depression and anxiety. So what I did was call the Counseling Center at my school. I talked to a psychologists to help with the problems that I was having to figure it out how I could change them. So if I were you, I would recommend calling and going to the Counseling Center at your school. The cost should be free, since it’s a service provided through the school you’re attending. From there, you will speak with someone from the department and they will ask you a few questions so they can find the best fit for the problems you are having. Then they will set up an appt based on the psychologist’s availability. From there, you will be able to speak with that person regarding the issues. If you do not like this idea, I would call your doctor and ask them further options for you to explore. Hopefully this helps!

It might be worth looking into if your school has a disability resource center or counselling, or both honestly. Just being able to talk to someone about your issues genuinely helps. I wish I could help more but I wish you the best and I’m sure you’ll do great in school 🤗
