Dealing with Anger in Depression

Anyone with depression just feel angry sometimes? Angry at something that happened to you? At life? At the fact that you’re depressed? I don’t know how i can let this out but i feel i need to. I can’t afford therapy right now but even that is too calm. I screamed and punched my pillow the other day. I’m just pissed sometimes that i feel so stuck… that’s what depression feels like. Everything is in slow motion or pause. Happy moments are temporary. Your head bullies you. Everything that has color is gray to you. Wish i didn’t have it anymore.

Yes, I feel angry often, and sometimes not for any real reason. Just mad. Most states have gov. Funded crisis stabilization place with free or little cost therapy. That might be a place to start

Yes. I spent a lot of my life trying to be easy going and consequentially, I never let myself be angry. Now I find myself irrationally angry at things that happened years ago, or even slight inconveniences. If you can find one cheap, I suggest getting a punching bag one of the stand versions, and some wrist supports. Crying and wailing on ours makes things ever so slightly better sometimes.
