Struggling with Depression and Loss of Appetite

I’m eating less and less I think my depression or something else has been at me. Idk what to do. My Appetite has been less and less. I should probably get it checked out but I’m lazy and think I’ll be okay.

I've been in the same boat recently, for me it's helpful to just eat small things like snacks. Maybe a little bit of nuts here, or a piece of beef jerky there. At least something mildly nutritional to help me get by

Several times I've had periods where I didn't eat anything just drank water, coffee, and protein shakes that replaces meals but those were even hard to drink

I definitely feel that. I can tell when I'm getting worse based off of weight loss and appetite. Even if I force myself to eat, I find myself losing weight. It's a weird feeling because I know I have to eat and I should be hungry, but I'm not. It's even harder when I have to cook the food, the motivation hides from me.

A good thing if you're able too, is yogurt, fairly light and good in nutrition at least so it's good help if ones overall eating less, lots of types too which helps pickiness, same with some yogurts that have protein in them, and drinking water and being hydrated is important, it might not give much energy but it'll help with some aching and tiredness

i second this, but sometimes i have been so fatigued with my depression i can’t eat only drink, so yogurt drinks and yogurt based smoothies have also been really helpful. soups too

I’ve had the same thing man, what I did was just try to eat a little bit and drink plenty of water and just when you can start eating a little bit more each time. Hopefully it’ll help
