Do you ever feel like you're not really there?

Do you ever depersonalize so badly that you don’t even know that you’re talking or even walking this happens to me so often and it is so stressful because I’ll just be having like a conversation with someone and then out of nowhere I’ll like snap back to reality and be like wait we’re talking and I won’t understand that we were talking but I know exactly what we were talking about and sometimes I’ll do it so badly that I will be walking down the street or something like that and I won’t know that I’m walking until like I snap back in reality and I’m like oh wait I’m walking and I need to focus. Am I the only one that does this?

I feel this often times as well. Just yesterday I was having a rough day with depersonalization. I was at work, closing the bakery wiping down glass, and I looked at the paper towel and squinted real hard. It felt like a rush of realization, confusion, and fear, like “oh yeah, I’m wiping down glass right now.” it happened several times throughout the night, and other days as well. It’s definitely confusing and frustrating for that to happen.
