Dependence on Marijuana for Anxiety Relief

Smoking marijuana is the only thing that has significantly helped me with my 12 year battle with anxiety but I’m becoming very dependent on it and I don’t know whether or not I should quit. Smoking is often the only way I can get through the day and I don’t have any negative side effects.

I will tell you that marijuana is better than the pharmaceutical drugs the dr. Would put you on. Don't quit. You do what you need to get through the day and I studied criminal justice and marijuana is only psychologically addictive not physically so it's not like if you ran out you would go into severe withdrawal. I say if it's working keep doing it. I have to smoke every day

I think there's not enough long term research on the effects of weed vs the use of pharmacutical medication. I know it will harm peoples lungs long term if smoked cuz all smoking will after all but also anxiety is very difficult and if you have tried many medications or given up on medication I think it's ok if it brings you relief. If weed helps with my anxiety I would eat weed gummies. I have tried many medications and it seems I am resistant to them I have from Klonopin helps but my psychiatrist only gave me 15 pills because she isn't comfortable with prescribing stronger medicine so I will find someone who can see my medical history and see all the things I've tried. But yeah if it helps you I think it's okay until you find something else that helsp
